Within a minute of Michel Pereira’s UFC debut we knew we were watching something different.
Entering the Octagon in tears before breakdancing as his name was announced, “Demolidor” which rather perfectly translates to “Demolisher” took just 1min 47secs to stop British welterweight Danny Roberts.

At only 25yrs old, Pereira may have been making his debut in the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation but with over 30 professional fights behind him it should be no surprise he took it in his stride.
The breakdancing should have been the first clue that Pereira wasn’t going to grind out a three-round decision. In less than two minutes, the Brazilian tried the “Showtime Kick” twice. Twice! However, it was a flying knee which caught Roberts and before the Brit could compose himself he was laid out with a devastating straight right.
In defeating Danny Roberts at UFC Rochester, Michel Pereira now holds a 23-9 MMA record.
