Well we didn’t see that twist coming! Comedian Chris Rock signs up for a Saw reboot.
Lionsgate have announced that Chris Rock will be behind the reimagining of the Saw franchise. “When Chris Rock came to us and described in chilling detail his fantastic vision that reimagines and spins off the world of the notorious Jigsaw Killer, we were all-in,” said Lionsgate chairman Joe Drake.
What’s more we don’t have too long to wait for the return of Jigsaw. A release date of October 2020 means that Halloween next year is all but sorted.
“This new Saw is going to be an event film in the making for horror fans. It will have all of the twists and turns and hardcore layers that our fans expect.”
