Korean survival drama Squid Game has been renewed for a second series.
Netflix have announced their record-breaking survival drama Squid Game has been renewed for a second series via a Red-Light-Green-Light tease across their social media channels.
The series, which premiered on Netflix last year, became the most-viewed original title in Netflix history in less than two weeks of its release.
A second post on Netflix’s Instagram account featured a message from the show’s creator Hwang Dong-hyuk:
“As the writer, director and producer of Squid Game, a huge shout out to fans around the world. Thank you for watching and loving our show.”
No release date has been announced.
